"From the nervous butterflies to start the swim, to a big crash at kilometre 25 of the bike course, to a mental battle for the 42.2 km run made for quite a thrilling first Ironman event, knocking down 1 of 6 continents. Ringing the first timer Ironman bell, and hearing "Silvia Stajer, you are an Ironman" for the first time, made every single ache, pain and doubt I had in my mind during the race worth it."

Fun fact, Silvia is a dual citizen! Silvia holds her European passport, as her mother was born in Florence. Italy has always been a very special place to Silvia. Swimming a one loop course in the beautiful water of the Adriatic sea, before returning to transition for the bike and run portions of this race. Through the scenic routes, and ancient history of Europe this will be a spectacular race. Average air temperature of 25 degrees celsius.

BUSSELTON, WESTERN AUSTRALIA - DECEMBER 2024

December 1st 2024 to the land down under! A 2 lap swim course close to shore to hopefully make for better water conditions. A stunning bike and run course along the coast to help keep your mind occupied from the hottest race Silvia will be doing in 2024. Average air temperature of 27 degrees celsius - this race will need plenty of SPF!
04: AFRICA
NELSON MANDELA BAY, PORT ELIZABETH, SOUTH AFRICA -
MARCH 2025
Starting out 2025 strong, Silvia will be doing her first race of the season in Port Elizabeth, Nelson Mandela Bay. A one loop swim course in the bay, followed by rolling hills on the bike and run segments of this race. Average air temperature of 23 degrees celsius.

LAKE PLACID, NY - JULY 2025

SOUTH HOKKAIDO, JAPAN - SEPTEMBER 2025
July 2025 will likely be the most challenging race Silvia takes on. Lake Placid, arguably one of the most iconic Ironman races there is. A remarkable amount of elevation gain on and off the bike. Average air temperature of 24 degrees celsius will help make for comfortable racing conditions.
September 2025 will be the first time Silvia ever travels to Asia to complete the last Ironman on her world record attempt! In a 2 loop swim course, and a flat bike and run course, this race is hopeful to be a fast one! Average air temperature of 18 degrees celsius will help make for comfortable racing conditions.
